You do not need to start up your own company to gain entrepreneurship, and in fact, you need to be an entrepreneur to be successful in business. Well, search ads are comparatively better channel to drive sales if the keywords (phrases rather) are on target. However, Youtube/FB/Banners are really driving brand awareness and top of mind. When customers have been built up "top of mind" of your brand, they will search for you, hence, SEO is in place doing the job for you to let you to be "Found". In a lot of situations, in a competitive landscape, you need to do a lot of "comparison" content of yourself against the competitors.
